On May 28, 2013, CAF met with the Canada Border Services Agency for a tour of the Toronto Immigration Holding Centre at 385 Rexdale Blvd. as well as Passenger Operations District at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The tour was based on an information session regarding the process by which immigrants and refugees are admitted into Canada and the process of handling persons entering Canada through both legal and illegal means. Issues such as racial profiling, due process and community relations were discussed. CAF thanks CBSA for the invitation to learn more about a process that affects many members of the Canadian-Arab community and looks forward to continued relations.
